Some people think that we love to bash on Apple when they are having issues, but I like to think we mention all things that have issues. Case in point: the new Kindle Fire is seeming to have some connection issues. This proves to be kind of a major one for something that is considered to be a computer buster.
Some people have been reporting issues with WiFi connectivity. Now some of the issues range from random disconnection to inability to connect to your own WiFi. Again, this is sporadic and isn’t a massive issue happening to every user. It is very much like the Apple battery issue for the new iPhone 4S.
Amazon hasn’t commented on the issue, but it seems that it is spreading on Amazon’s support forums. Some users have complained about the WiFi turning off when the screen goes black, which does happen on some Android devices and you need to make sure it is designed to keep connectivity when the screen goes black.
Even the guys at Tech Crunch are experiencing some issues. It is kind of embarrassing to have a device that has issues with the one thing that makes it competitive in the tech market. I doubt Amazon will allow this to continue for much longer, but this is the prime reason as to why I never purchase anything on its release day. Patience is a virtue. Anyone experiencing similar issues?
