One of the biggest selling points Microsoft is using on the Xbox One X is their Enhanced program. According to IGN, Microsoft announced on Monday that four Xbox 360 games will be included in the enhancements. The enhancements for the upcoming games will include tweaks that increase the on-screen pixels to nine times, some will have a 10-bit color palette and even HDR support.
Halo 3, Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will have the “Enhanced” logo, which indicates that the games were enhanced toward the new console. Of course, the games will not render in 4K and HDR, but they will be greatly improved while running on the Xbox One X.
Keep in mind that ‘upscaling’ will happen to each game that is played on the Xbox One X. Regardless of whether it is an older Xbox One or Xbox 360 (playable via backward compatibility). This will include the recently announced original Xbox titles that were announced on Monday.
