The Cheap Seats #23: Justice League

We have reached the end of the recap of the DC Cinematic Universe and this series. Justice League was critically pounced on for being simply a DC movie. However, it managed to prove a point that no matter who directed this movie, the film was a target for critics. After crucifying the previous installments as being pretentious and too dark, this lighter tone and palette managed to get the same ridicule for being too light and fun.

The series itself is a flawed one and there are critical points to be made. However, to simply crucify Joss Whedon or Zack Snyder is shortsighted and downright idiotic. The film was fun and managed to bring us the DC crew together. With all that being said, as previously indicated, this is our final The Cheap Seats episode. Starting in January, we will go to a The Lazy Geeks Podcast and The Away Team series on a weekly basis.

The main reason for cancellation of the show is that after some time, we determine what to continue with based off downloads. While these episodes share an RSS feed, there are differences in which episodes are downloaded. This was one of the lowest downloaded shows we offer. The Away Team is our second highest-downloaded show, next to The Lazy Geeks Podcast. If you haven’t listened to it, one thing to remember is that you don’t need to be a fan to check it out. We recap the stories and add our twist to the recap. Also, a few people have watched the episodes because of that show. So, definitely check it out.

We want to thank you guys for tuning in and check out this show. We hope you will join us and continue our journey into podcasting lore.
