A while back Pull List by Comixology was a thing. However, since Amazon had purchased Comixology, they have been trying to streamline all their services. In the meantime, they made it harder for people to make impulse purchases. Comixology’s Pull List was a retailers digital shop. Some people even used it to create a pull list to print and take it to their local comic stores.
Amazon released an email on Friday announcing the closing of Pull List. Amazon made the announcement via email to its customers, as well as retailers that use their digital service. The Pull List and PopShop websites will no longer be active starting March 31, 2018.
In their FAQ section, they have some instructions on what you can do to look for new releases. “We make a weekly speadsheet that lists the next week’s releases right here. We aren’t endorsing and YMMV (your mileage may vary), but we’ve heard some people use leagueofcomicgeeks.com for tracking pull lists, and there are sites like comiclist.com that track new releases.”
They have decided to focus on their development efforts on their digital comics as to the reason for closing the service. Amazon refers users of their Pull List to retailers. However, since retailers just learned about the issue, they may need time to look for alternatives. Keep in mind that you still have six months to figure out alternatives. Just don’t wait until the last minute.
