One of the most stellar games from Rockstar between Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption was their 2011 crime drama L.A. Noire. When the game was released nearly seven years ago, the game was on two-discs for the Xbox 360. However, with the new, upgraded version of the game coming next month, a new trailer shows it off. In all its stunning glory.
The new trailer shows off the game in 4K. Obviously, you will need to see the video in 4K to truly see it, but not necessary. If you remember the game on the Xbox 360 or PS3, it will wet your appetite for the game. With the 4K resolution, you will be able to play it on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. For those of you with the older models, the game will render in 1080p.
While you will see a slew of visual upgrades, the updated version will be accompanied with all the game’s DLC expansions. If VR is your thing, a modified version called L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files will be released for the HTC Vive. That offering will contain “seven select cases rebuilt for VR.”
The game will be released on November 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This will mark one of three mature titles being released for the Switch. Along with Doom and Skyrim, Nintendo is growing their market base. Keep in mind that the Switch copy will run you $10 more than other consoles. The cost increase is due to Rockstar creating the game, especially for the Switch.
