Back in 2016, it was reported that Nintendo would launch their new console, Switch, in March of 2017. Seems like there will not be any delay in that release date, as Nintendo us planning an event that will allow you to pre-order the console this Friday. If their Twitter post on Wednesday is any indication, and their classic NES Mini, quantities will be limited.

If you wish to be one of those early adopters, you can pre-order the console beginning at 9 a.m. ET at the Nintendo New York store on Friday, January 13th. If you really wish to get one of those consoles, you best be lining up very early since there will be “a limited quantity.”
The announcement comes before the Nintendo Switch’s press conference, which is being lived streamed from Tokyo at 11 p.m. ET on Thursday. This press conference will finally give us the low-down on the release sated, pricing, launch titles and hopefully some other cool stuff. We will finally get to see if those images on the promotional video will be day-one titles.
According to Polygon, aside from the pre-orders, there will be a preview event that is for press only on that Friday, and Saturday will be an invite only event. However, on Sunday, the event will be open to the public. The Switch is slated to travel across the rest of the continent from January through March, which is their target launch day. Check back on the site tomorrow for the news from the Nintendo event.
