Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Games Including VR Game

Earlier in the week, we mentioned that Microsoft would be releasing some cool games when September arrives next week. Sony waited until the last minute to announce their PlayStation Plus games for September. What is interesting is that Sony is attempting to capitalize on their PlayStation VR price cute to offer a free game in September.

With the price cut taking effect on the first of the month, Sony is releasing RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, which is a sports game that allows players to control mechs in a variety of matches. The game is available for PS VR users on the 5th of September until November 7th. Which is a large window for people who pick up the headset and get a free game for their troubles.

Even though they offer the VR game of free, Sony does not short-change regular members with the free games. PlayStation 4 users will be getting Infamous: Second Son and Strike Vector Ex are free for the month of September.
