For those of you not living under a rock these last two days, Star Wars Celebration is underway in Orlando Florida. Of course, the two biggest treats fans are waiting for is the release of the teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the sequel to the 2015 EA game Battlefront II. The game trailer will drop on Saturday but on Friday, Lucasfilm released the teaser trailer online after it debuted at the convention.

As you would expect, it focuses on the trailer of Rey by Luke Skywalker and some obvious battle between the Rebellion and the New Order. Of course, we are not in some dingy swap as it was in Empire Strikes Back but it will take place on that beautiful island location that we saw in The Force Awakens. To add glee upon fanatic glee, Lucasfilms dropped the official poster for the film and it is glorious.

Fortunately, no longer do we live in a world that prevents us from being there to see it in person. Unlike San Diego Comic-Con, Star Wars Celebration knows that they have fans all around the world and are live-streaming panels. You can find these panels on YouTube. This will allow fans to watch the presentations, without having to sleep outside and sit in the comfort of their own pajamas.

One of the biggest videos that came out of yesterday’s events was the tribute video to Carrie Fisher. In case you missed it, you can check it out below. If you still haven’t come to terms with her passing, you may need to have some tissues next to you but it does hit you right in the feels.

May the Force be with You.
