Much like what we say with the behind-the-scene video for The Force Awakens, Disney is not waste the valuable marketing position they had with their D23 Expo over the weekend. Instead of showing off a new story trailer for the film, which is due out this December, Rian Johnson released a behind-the-scenes clip that would galvanize fans more than simply watching a new trailer for the movie. This clip had as strong of an impact on me as the one for The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi takes you into the second part of this new trilogy. Speaking with actors about their characters and direction, as well as the love they have for one another off-camera. The most powerful moment was seeing Mark Hamill hugging Carrie Fisher. The biggest emotional impact comes at the end of the clip with Carrie Fisher having the final last words.

As in the previous film, it seems that we will see more practical effects and on-set stunts that we had ever seen in the prequel trilogy. Seeing live-action creatures, robots and puppetry makes the movie have the feel of the classic trilogy. This is what brought back that sense of nostalgia. Live-action has a better look on-screen than anything coming from computers. Enjoy the clip and begin the countdown to December 15th.
