After a string of critical failures of the DC Cinematic Universe, the one many pinned their hopes on was Wonder Woman. To many, Wonder Woman was the last ray of hope they had for this universe. Many faulted Zack Snyder’s dark and brooding vision of the DC Comic universe. Geoff Johns and Patty Jenkins took over the film and gave it some hope. Color. Promise, and a positive message.

The character had a full personal arc throughout the film. Wonder Woman showed that a woman can still be a woman and be a positive role model for young girls. No matter what James Cameron thinks, a strong woman does not have to be a flawed woman to be powerful. In the string of DC movies under Snyder’s direction, this may be the biggest highlight of the run.
