Many of you that have been following the Netflix-Marvel television shows for the last five years know the end of the wait is fast approaching. Unlike the build up to the cinematic universe with The Avengers, it was a bit more vague as to the timeline for the Netflix version The Defenders would hit the screen. When it was initally announced, Marvel and Netflix said it would be Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist with their individual shows and then The Defenders would come together.
After the success of Daredevil, we had two season of the show with Jessica Jones, then Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Now, we know that coming this August, we would get the team-up we have been told would happen. If the trailer is any indication, we should see many of the supporting actors from the individual series’ make up the supporting cast of this series, as well as Sigourney Weaver bringing up the villain end.
The trailer looks cool and the fight scenes look great. Of course, you know it is a Netflix-Marvel series because it has another hallway fight scene. The entire series will be available to binge on August 18th on Netflix.
