Here at the Lazy Geeks, we like to spread the word of a good deal when we see one. Whether it be through our Facebook page, Twitter or even on the site, we always like to throw out a good deal when we see one. Amazon has an amazing deal for those of you that are waiting for the perfect phone to sign up with Verizon.

Right now, Amazon is offering new Verizon customers the ability to sign up with the wireless carrier and receive the Google flagship phone Samsung Galaxy Nexus for only a penny. That is correct, just one penny. This will give you the Android 4.0 operating system out of the box but you need to sign up for a two-year contract.

Now, the only stipulation is that you need to make sure that this is the phone you want. If you cancel service after 14 days, you will have to pay not one, but two early termination fees. Before you start screaming bloody murder at Verizon, you need to pay the standard $350 charge to Verizon, but an additional $250 fee to Amazon.

However, it would be hard pressed to find someone that wouldn’t be happy with the phone and the service. I mean, unlike AT&T, you can make a call and actually have a long conversation as well as use apps and a bunch of other stuff. This is an awesome deal for such a high-profiled device, not to mention if you are itching to get that new 4.0 update, all your prayers have been answered.
