With the release of Captain Marvel out of the way, Marvel has to try and get their next project hyped up. However, they really don’t need to do much for the hype to be honest. Early Wednesday morning, on Pi Day, Marvel released Avengers: Endgame official trailer. The previous trailer was just their teaser. So unlike all their past movies, this one is kept under wraps.
Fan theories have been running abound on the internet since the last minute of the first showing of Infinity War. Not to mention all the people that said Tony Stark HAD to die in Infinity War. I laughed a lot at the “rational” arguments that claimed that needed to happen for Marvel to continue. Which is crap. Marvel has nothing to prove. After ten years, “they need to prove” is just your fantasy. Never confuse the two.
However, there is a time travel theory that has been running around for a while. That seems to be the only theory that has some credence. There are some clues. I’m not saying this is going to happen, it’s just the only one that I see “could” happen. A majority of the characters that survived the snap was the original line-up of the Avengers. The best way to destroy Thanos would be before he even got one of the stones.
Also, the original line-up needed to survive, since they are the ones that started the whole thing. Most likely, for many of them, this is their last hurrah. This is the last contracted film for people like Chris Evans, Chris Helmsworth, and Robert Downey Jr. They need to send them out in a great way, if they don’t come back.
Marvel has said (take it as you will) that Phase 4 will change dramatically after the events in Avengers: Endgame. That is true since they will have Fox’s Marvel properties back. On a personal note, I am so excited to see what they pull to get things back to normal. Not to mention, I don’t care if they blow all the fan theories out of the water. I am excited to see how they conclude this amazing arc. Time to watch Avengers: Endgame official trailer several hundred more time.
