Klingon Pop Warrior Sings ‘Let It Go’ in the Original Klingon

If you have followed us for any period of time, you would know that The Lazy Geeks are huge Star Trek fans. Adam and I have a common love for everything Star Trek. Yes, we do have some gripes, but not like the ones that spend their days producing vlogs about how they hate the new Trek. Now, if you’re a Star Trek fan, you would know there are many vids about our culture translated into Klingon. This is where Klingon Pop Warrior comes in.

She is a YouTube personality that takes many of our favorite pop culture music and turns them into Klingon. Because, everything sounds better in the original Klingon – Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Just look at Hamlet.  After Reddit user staq16 posted the song to Reddit’s Star Trek subreddit earlier this month, Klingon Pop Warrior rendition of “Let It Go” actually makes the song bearable again.

Obviously, if you have children, or are a Disney zombie, you will have worn out the digital copy of that song. I don’t know how, but I’m sure you managed. Many thought the song was on point, but some took issue with the fact that Klingons hate the cold. Unfortunately, for those people, they don’t have much of a life that making “woke” points on Reddit is their only joy in life.

If you check out the Pop Warrior’s YouTube channel, you will find a litany of songs that are recreated in the original Klingon. She has renditions of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Bad Romance, and My Heart Will Go On. While my favorite isn’t as polished as those, her rendition of Don’t Stop Believing on the Star Trek Cruise III is one for a good themed party.

Let’s not forget, she mentions she is taken with the beauty of Jason Issac, who was kinda rocking out to her version. This is the kind of stuff we need to end our day. Sharing things that make us enjoy the fan base of some of the things we love. Enjoy them and leave the bitching and gripping for Twitter. So, enjoy your Tuesday.
