Yesterday evening, we posted a video of The Dark Knight Rises done completely in Lego. It only seemed natural to keep the Lego momentum going with the work of the infamous Battlestar Galactica done completely out of Lego. IO9posted some pictures of the various ships, with some incredible backdrops, from the popular 2003 series.
LEGO enthusiasts Garry King began building ships from the original 1978 series, but began focusing on the newer series, which includes the Cylon BaseStars. The above ship is William Adama’s Battlestar Valkyrie from Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. This ship is 10 feet long, weighs 110 pounds, and is built out of 42,341 LEGO bricks. Now, let’s take a look at those Cylon BaseStar.
That would take so much time and trouble for me to create. I give credit to anyone that can master the art Lego building to such an awesome degree. If you would like to check more of his work, you can check out io9 for more pictures.
