We are back! Of course, a bit later than we expected. Unfortunately, I felt ill with laryngitis on Sunday and prevented me from recording. Monday, I felt worse and was able to get it back enough to record on Tuesday. So, here we are with The Lazy Geeks 339: Swear to Me.
Adam takes the reins of the show to help give my voice a bit of a rest. We manage to review Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s final Batman comic Batman: Last Knight on Earth, as well as impressions of the upcoming Star Trek: Picard teaser.
Of course, the main topic for this week is the news of Robert Pattinson taking on the role of the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. We discuss if the flake regarding the casting is justified or do people need to calm down. Actors are chosen to play multiple characters within their lifetime. Also, it’s been nearly a decade since Twilight.
We close out the show with a new conspiracy theory about the Steele Dossier. Why was president-elect Trump notified about its existence? Was it to get inside Trump’s head? Was it a retaliation tactic against Trump for all those birther conspiracy theories he was peddling? You will find out what the right is doing to justify anything. Enjoy this week’s episode of The Lazy Geeks 339: Swear to Me.
