There was a lot of news happening this week on The Lazy Geeks Podcast. Disney decided to give up on its blackout of the Los Angeles Times, which was dumb, to begin with. Kevin Spacey is getting removed from his own movie, which is coming out in a couple of weeks. A whole new Star Wars trilogy is coming out soon. We are hoping for some Knights of the Old Republic. Respawn gets acquired by EA but says nothing is going to change. Justice Department puts a hold on the whole AT&T and Time Warner merger. Brian Michael Bendis makes a run for DC Comics, leaving behind a Marvel career of nearly two decades.

The main story this week is about Disney. Not only did they manage to do a complete one-eighty from that bad press (pun intended) with the Los Angeles Times, they managed to get people excited about their recent moves. Early last week, a report came out that Disney was looking to purchase 21st Century Fox’s movie and television properties. This would allow them to build up their inventory for their streaming service. There is a lot going on around that.

Oh, and they discuss the biggest news stories of the past week. Enjoy!
