The Lazy Geeks #311: All Good Things…

As we promised, it’s with a heavy heart that we bring you the final episode of The Lazy Geeks Podcast. In our post on Saturday, this isn’t the end of the road for is. In fact, it is more of a “we’re just getting started.” Of course, we discuss as to the reason for ending the show in its current form, as well as the future of the upcoming The Lazy Geeks that will debut in the fall.

The shooting during a Madden gaming tournament and the passing of John McCain will be our late-breaking news. Aside from that, it is business as usual for us. The episode will be a little longer than usual, but given that it’s our final episode we are allowed. Steven saves a new conspiracy theory promoted by InfoWars about last week’s hurricane as his WTAF segment.

It has been an honor to bring you this show into your feed for the last eight years. As much fun as it was, we have evolved and plan to keep this show going at The Lazy Geeks that will debut in October. It is important to note that the feed for the new show will remain as is. So there is nothing for you to do on your end. As for the site, it will become more of a blog and will house more podcast in the coming month, as well as the addition of The Extended Play Movie Podcast.

Kicking off our ninth season this October, it seems more fitting that this will be the time to make our change. Many television series don’t last this long. Adam and Steven has evolved from simply reading the news and commenting on it. Now, they are going to talk about more personal issues (being a geek as an adult) and even some news. We hope you will join us during that time.

Thanks for the last eight years, and here’s to the future.
