It has been some time since I did a new episode. Yes, I remember what I said when I mentioned that it was time to “Pump the Brakes.” However, do to a generous donation from a listener, Kyle, we got a self-hosted site and the official URL is back in service. “The Marvel Issue” is my first foray back into the geek fray.
With the site and the podcast offering a soft reboot, there will be a new podcast coming out. The reboot of the podcast isn’t much different that the five episode of the past couple of months. The bigger issue is that I will tend to focus on news that is slipping past the cracks and offering non-clickbait topics with a more “boring version” of the news.
The more “boring” version walks the line of giving fact-based and non-dogmatic perspective. Some young people may view it as a finger waving, older person concept of the news. The problem is that much of it is the same news we started covering back in 2010. However, the perspective is that it is all the same gift, re-wrapped in new shiny paper.
As someone with a political leaning, the concept is that all political leanings play the same game and neither one is without subject of speculation. However, I will never say “don’t vote” because that is what the powerful people in charge want.

With the release of this episode I have two things to say: (one) I am playing it fast and loose, while (two) the episode will be a bit long. For both those two things, I apologize. The stories I chose were based on some insights that no one is talking about. Including, stories that didn’t manage to gain any ground, since everyone is following Trump’s Epstein file debacle.
The content provided in this episode will not be the format of the direction of the podcast. I promise that next week, I will have a fuller script and it will be tighter. Sometimes, I believe that I can get myself under control and then I glance at the clock.
