As I said on The Lazy Geeks episode on Monday, I am bringing back my shows. I am currently working on another, but I am holding off releasing it until I get settled with these. The 1994 Northridge Earthquake kicks off season two but the first episode of the rebrand. The first episode back will be on the historical side with a bit of a personal slant. Like last season.
Recently, we past the thirty-second anniversary of the quake. It had a major impact on me as a 20-year-old college student. A year after my mother passed, and two years until my father’s passing. Being a native Californian, I grew up with tremors. But this was something I had never experienced before. Or since. My brother experienced the 1971 Sylmar Earthquake. He was in his senior year of high school at the time. This one shook him up the most.
Having passed five years this year, I felt it was as better time as any to relive it.

Next time, I will dive into a the new direction that struck me recently. In light of fake “manosphere” content online, I offer a counter. I heard somewhere on how to relate to younger people: “be who you wish you had when you were younger”.
As someone who usually bonds with younger people than people my own age, I thought, sure. Offer advice that doesn’t consist of either “man up” or selling them a course. Enjoy this week’s episode and I will see you soon.
