If you follow the podcasts, there is a small change coming. A lot of this has to do with migrating the blog back to our back-up site. After being unable to continue with our paid hosting, we were forced to migrate everything back to thelazygeeksblog WordPress site. After a week of using it, I am reminded why I don’t like it. But we have to deal with things we don’t like all the time. This has and hasn’t affected the podcast line-up for the coming week and so on.

The Lazy Geeks podcast will not be affected as far as scheduling. The bi-weekly episodes with Adam and myself are still going on as normal. However, the originally planned deep dive episodes will not continue. As evident by the release of this last week’s episode. From now on, I will be doing solo episodes back with news of the week content.

This should be okay since I won’t be dealing with it week after week. What is cool is that it will allow me to pick whatever I think is cool every other week. Not having to deal with news constantly should be more manageable going forward.

Great American Sh*t Show is, unfortunately, ended. This wasn’t a decision that made easily, and it was a bit out of my control. Apparently, someone else had some issues with me using that title and it was either continue with it – or be sued. It sucks but I will pivot to doing a different type of show.

That brings us to new shows coming down the pipeline.

Podcast Line-Up Changes and Much More

Down the Rabbit Hole will be my new show. Each week, I will do some deep dive episodes into some topics that are curious to me. Things that I discovered off social media and wanted to discuss it. Some of the episodes from Great American Sh*t Show are moving over to this podcast. Instead of making a straight series, I will make them more isolated episodes to fit into the show’s theme. I believe the new show will debut sometime in August, but I will announce a firm date at a later time.

Lastly, I am launching a Patreon exclusive podcast. The Disgruntled Cinephile Redux will be a weekly 15-minute podcast reviewing modern movies. I have given myself a timeline from 2020 to present. Episodes in the can are Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Obsession, Mile High Kicks, Backrooms, Masters of the Universe, and much more. This is available for “Casual” tier and higher.

Due to some of these changes, The Disgruntled Cinephile fell behind in content. So, I have pulled the show for two weeks in order to catch up. Record a few episodes to allow myself to backlog to release on a timely schedule.
