May the Fourth Be with You! Yes, it is May 4th and we have a brand new episode of The Lazy Geeks for you. It definitely took some time, but that was on my end. I will say that the episode seems (and felt) a bit rough. Given that this is a trial of our new format, it’ll take time to get into the flow of it. So, we would appreciate if you would give us some time. “AI Ate My Homework” has some headlines, which are more smaller stories that don’t require much background.
However, when we get into the “top stories” section, that will be a bit longer. You can tell me if you guys like this idea. A longer, and opinionated, series of stories that will focus on bigger news stories of the week. May even be stories that have a lot more context that is required.
Of course, what episode would be complete without the return of “douchebag of the week”. Some of you may be surprised that I didn’t pick Ericka Kirk for her sad Janet Jackson cosplay. Wait until next week. The Claude story was funny and felt better after the final top story I had in this episode.

As I said earlier, “AI Ate My Homework” is still a rough episode. I already know what I need to do for next week to make things smoother. After 467 episodes, you think I would already know how to make pivots in a show’s format. The truth is when I make pivots in my shows, the first episode out is always a rough one. Expect next week to be better. Enjoy The Lazy Geeks: AI Ate My Homework, and we’ll see you next week.
