As of right now, we are pausing our Patreon.

After a critical look at our cost versus reward, we have opted to no longer proceed with our Patreon at this time. That does not mean that we will not return to it. However, the fact that after three months, we have yet to have a single subscriber, there is no sense in running myself ragged to make deadlines if no one is listening.

There could be a number of factors. Maybe we aren’t good, that comes to mind immediately. Maybe this was a bad time to start one. Given the economy is the way it is. People don’t want to pay for another subscription. Just we had quite a few interested parties that encouraged us to do so, yet none of those people signed up.

Pausing the Patreon

I may throw something up from time-to-time. But I will no longer stress myself out by doing something no one wants. I will refocus my efforts into improving our YouTube channel. Provide more content there. I am reworking some of the shows to make them more YouTube edit ready.

There was a thought of releasing all the episodes of the first series within the Great American Sh*t Show podcast. That dropped today. However, if some want that, I can still do it. But it will not be part of my daily/weekly to-do. Again, work versus reward has to play into it at some point.  

We were hoping Patreon could bring in some revenue, as YouTube changed the rules that make us seeing that as an option more remote. With all that being said, I don’t want to be a man of many trades with a master in none. So, if you would like to donate, we still have the payment apps. As for now, we will see you later.
