The offering for this week’s episode is a bit different. It’s about the guru problem. If you followed me on social media, I wasn’t having a good mental health week. Due to this, I fell behind on posting content on the blog, among other things. Fortunately, I had begun “stack and store” method for things like this. It was a small grouping of “dive” stories that were pre-recorded. That is what this episode will be debuting.

I had written a few “dive” stories to hold over episodes that I wasn’t able to record due to illness or something unexpected. This episode will have a “Group Chat” piece because those are recorded well in advance.

This week’s “dive” episode goes into gurus. While it mostly pertains to YouTube Gurus, I do mention other types that have used YouTube to spread their grift to a more massive audience. For clarification, YouTube gurus are the ones that have that solution to improve your YouTube channel. Whether it be, increase subscribers or start making that YouTube money.

All of which generally boils down to watch the whole video. This will improve my revenue growth and appear in your feed. The truth about these gurus are about helping them, not you. Change these two settings and watch the money roll in. Or, in many instances, sign up for their course.

Much of what you hear is cookie cutter slop. No one has the magic bullet that will get you millions. Like crypto, no one wants to miss out just in case this one person has the trick. Enjoy this episode of The Lazy Geeks: The Guru Scam. We will see you next week.
