With the second part of our anniversary launch coming next week, we wanted to drop some last-minute changes. Going forward, there will only be three podcasts for this branding. Yes, that means more new podcast line-up changes are here. I suspected this was going to happen. Of course, I figure later rather than sooner. However, when you record them, you start to figure out the tone.

The main line-up will go as such: The Lazy Geeks, The Disgruntled Cinephile, and Great American Sh*t Show. Going forward starting this coming Monday, The Lazy Geeks will remain on Mondays. The Disgruntled Cinephile will move to Wednesdays. Great American Sh*t Show will drop on Fridays.

As for the other two shows, I will be moving them off this brand. Midlife Kind of Life and The Gen-Xer Pod are too different from what we had before. Personally, I don’t think they truly fit the branding of geek and culture. Those two shows are a bit more personal and focusing on a different topic.

New Podcast Line-Up Changes Before Launch

I will leave the trailers on the site in case some want to follow it. Much of the content of both shows will focus more on Gen X topics. Either blasting them, deconstructing them, or simply offering advice to younger generations.

I will be moving them over to a new blog that I created. Yes, I know. Another blog. This will be more of a journal and nostalgia blog. Not updated as regular as this one.  Being more personal will mean more casual. Discuss some things that are on my mind. The podcasts will be more extensions of the blog. So, hope you follow me there.

Our Patreon is still there. Giving the takers we have, I am skipping early release of the episodes this week. As I said before, I will be promoting it until I feel that nothing is coming of it. There is hope of moving our podcasts to another host, which will allow us to place ads. See if we can get some revenue to grow this show. See you all Monday.
