This is a trailer I was excited for. I know of some you read the title and thought about that Matthew Modine movie from the 80’s. The one with that popular Madonna song, “Crazy for You”. Still a banger after all these years. But that’s not what I’m talking about. Marvel’s Vision Quest finally gets a trailer. After the events of Wanda Vision, no one knew what happened to Vision.

Judging by the trailer, he can still take human form and go deep into his own matrix and live a “real life”. Many people speculated that it would be similar to the comic, Vision. A comic series, which was awesome, where Vision constructed a fake family with a wife and kids. It seems to have borrowed something from that, but goes deeper.

Paul Bently, himself, claims that this is the last Vision performance. But, given how much Marvel keeps things under wraps, I can assume we will see him in Secret Wars. Ultron returns, which is great. However, the biggest surprise for me was seeing James Spader playing the “avatar” version of the character. Given, he was voicing the character, so it makes sense, I am happy for it.

Judging by the trailer it is a tree-part event beginning on October 14 on Disney+. It appears that this is the culmination of Vision’s existence and some daddy issues. I am looking forward to this and interested to see what cameos (if any) appear in this series.
